Paleo Mom Makes Italian Sardine Salad - Whole30 Day 9

In this video (link below) paleo mom Jen Shelton from PaleolatesBody makes a quick easy Italian sardine salad on day 9 of Whole30 meal prep. Jen uses Wild Planet sardines packed in a BPA free can and all certified organic ingredients including chopped spinach, endive, celery, zucchini, and jicama with a light dressing of apple cider vinegar and Italian spices.

After experiencing increased Hashimotos autoimmune thyroid symptoms, brain fog and fatigue, Jen Shelton worked with a functional medicine doctor to bring her thyroid hormones under control. The functional medicine doctor tested Jen for heavy metals. The results showed mercury toxicity. She then did a heavy metal detox through a heavy metal cleanse called chelation therapy.

Jen cooks paleo recipes and follows an AIP anti-inflammatory diet most of the time to help combat Hashimotos and psoriasis symptoms.
